1940’s Renovation Mood Board – Primary Ensuite
Those spa vibes … it’s what we live for!
Who wouldn’t want their bathroom to feel like their own little spa?
That was the theme of this bathroom.
Mood Board:
Finished Look:
It all started with the vanity.
I saw the image on McGee & Co. and fell in love with the colour.
So I bought this vanity on Home Depot:
Brookbank 60-inches Vanity Grey
I then had a cabinet company paint it in the colour Sensible Hue by Sherwin Williams.
After that I changed out all the hardware. They were super easy and quick to install.
Aurum Brushed Gold Transitional Cabinet Pull
Then I picked up two of these gold faucets on Wayfair:
To compliment the tone of the vanity I wanted to go with a slight green/grey undertone so I chose this 24×24 tile from Home Depot as well:
This is one of my favourite tiles I’ve ever used!
We added some pot lights in the ceiling for brightness and then these vanity lights on either side of the sinks:
Kraken 1 Light Mini Pendant Clear
Next up .. free standing tub. We used one from a local plumbing shop named Crawfords but this one is similar:
Ove Decors Riley 60-inch Freestanding Tub in White
For the wall paint colour we chose Cloud Nine by Benjamin Moore because of its beautiful green undertones (the true undertone doesn’t show up very well in photos)

Lastly the custom shower.
On the floors we went with:
Enigma Bianco 12-inch x 12-inch Polished 2-inch Hexagon Mosaic Tile
Paired with a matte marble tile on the walls.
Enigma Carrara Nevoso 12-inch x 24-inch HD Pressed Matte Porcelain Tile
